I was just told by a Spinal/neuro doctor that I have a stress fracture of the L-4?

He said he isn't worried about that, or the Degenerative herniated disk, He is worried about my arm and leg becoming numb and tingleing....... He said it is in my Cervical Spine. What is up? They want to wait on a MRI ..... I am nervous and still in ALOT of pain. Has anyone been through this? Any suggestions or tips about how to relieve the pain would be great, He wouldn't prescribe any narcotics until he knows what is up with my reflexs and other neuro tests. I am miserable and in pain.... Any help would be appreciated!!
