Question about 1996-1997 76ers Authentic Iverson jersey?

I bought a new with tags 76ers Iverson jersey from 1996 the road jersey. It is an authentic champion brand jersey size 48. I know that in 1996-1997 all teams had the gold NBA logo. My Iverson jersey has the regular blue and red one. I looked at the same jersey I had on another auction on ebay that was game worn and it had the gold logo and also the tag at the bottom of the left side said Body length +2 where it says designed and tailored 96 97 76ers. Mines doesnt say body length + on it. I read somewhere that teams had the gold logo stiched over the regular one. Ive also seen the same jersey I had that was Champion but it was the replica screenprinted one with the blue and red nba logo. Could my jersey still be an authentic but a retail version and not an authentic pro cut version? Is it possible they made two kinds of authentic jerseys, one for retail sale and one for the players to play in? Ive seen someone with the same jersey as mine posted on the nike talk website and someone said it was legit.
