How to get bacon grease out of granite counter top?

I have a light colored granite counter top that is on the more porous side. We left some warm bacon grease on it by accident and now it is stained. Ive tried a commercial poultrice and made one out of dishsoap and flour without success. I think it must be because bacon grease is solid at room temperature. Any ideas?
