My 18 year old daughter is 38 weeks pregnant with her ex-boyfriends baby.?
We did not find out that she was pregnant until her second trimester due to her irregular menses. Around that time she started a relationship with a man 11 years her senior (even with my husband and my objections), who has a 7 year old child that he has custody of. At first he wanted her to give her baby up. She didn't want to and told him so. He decided that he couldn't ask her to give up something that he wasn't willing to give up himself. The baby's father was told about the baby and has stepped up to the plate taking responsibility for the baby. Now the new boyfriend is angry that the baby's dad knows and has decided to take his anger and aggression out on me by coming to my house to yell and scream at me for telling me that we (as in my daughter and I) should have never told the baby's dad about the baby, I disagree. He also accused me of "being on the baby's dad's side". I am not on either side, I have sided with the baby who needs two loving parents that are willing to have a productive co-parenting relationship for their child. The boyfriend has a very hostile relationship with his ex. He also told me that I am too excited about an oops baby and that I am too involved in my daughters life. She doesn't have a car, we don't live in a town where there is public transportation or cabs, & we don't have any close family here so she has to rely on me to get her to her doctors appointments. Am I wrong for doing what I have done for my daughter and for worrying about my daughters boyfriend being either abusive and or a control freak
