What countries tax the property held by churches and religions?

In Sweden, Denmark, Germany and some other countries contributions to churches are deducted by the countries Tax Service. The Tax rate is around 8pc of the workers income. A service charge is levied by the Tax Service, this Tax is on top of regular income Tax. It seems unlikely Americans would sign up to such a system, but it would end griping about Churches not paying their way.
