Can someone help me calm down?! =(?
try to distract yourself by going out, watching your favorite tv show, or reading a book. it might be better if you surround yourself by people who are available at the moment so you feel less neurotic. being alone can trigger neurotic thoughts and let them get the better of you. try going to a bar or something (but don't drink too much because that will just make everything worse). if you notice that your thoughts have been somewhat irrational for a while, then seeking the help of a therapist/ or psychiatrist could really benefit you.
