How crowded does Stowe, VT get columbus day weekend?

thinking about going oct 7-12 this is over our anniversary but the hotel website says that there is a fall foliage crafts festival, and that it is columbus day weekend, and canadian thanksgiving(sorry, didn't know they had one!) so i was just wondering how crowded this weekend might get?? apparently all the hotel space will be sold out but i have no idea what that means in so far as lines, crowds, waiting for tables at restaurants etc. we don't have to go over our anniversary-we just would like to!! anyone out there who has been to stowe on sold out weekends and can shed some light on the situation?? thanks!
