Is Toshiba L500 Laptop 15.6in V2 good?

I forgot to add on original question. I am thinking about getting this or a sony but been looking at argos and this appears to be the better to. I want it mostly to do uni work and to be able to move around a lot? And also for a good battery life? So would it be the best for me?
