Things popping up when i turn my pc on?

when i restart my laptop or turn it on it takes a long time to load everything. then as it loads icq pops up, then yahoo, then aim pops up. it doesnt auto sign in, it just pops up.. i dont want all that popping up when i turn my computer on.. how can change it to where it doest do that?
