Why hasn't he tried to tak to me?

This guy i see at work, he is cute and i thought he liked me. He always looks up and wave when i p him. The other day when he walked p i kinda smiled and he said what u smiling for silent. He said silent because i am very quiet at work and only talk to a couple co workers. anyway, i notice he has been talking to a girl who works in my deparment and she is half ugly. I look way better.
